Yarrow Tincture
Yarrow is considered to be one of the sacred "Life Medicines" by the Navajo people. When taken internally it is said to prevent infection, aid blood circulation and aid in lowering blood pressure. In herbal terms, it is known as "amphoretic" which means it can work in seemingly contradictory ways to help the body achieve homeostasis, or "normalize." It can be beneficial in alleviating symptoms of colds and flu. Yarrow has been used to induce sweating, break a fever and to stop wound bleeding. TO USE DURING FEVER- 2-3 dropperfulls every hour until fever breaks (add the tincture to 1-4 oz of warm water or tea)
